Mermaid Bones Ep

I haven’t blogged on this for a while, so I thought I better do it one last time before New Year haha. I’ve just released a 5 song ep up for free. You can download it at;

Most of the songs seem really old to me now as I have been working on them on a very on and off basis for months and months. I thought I better release them now so that I can move on forward with new projects. Going to be working on a few remixes this year and a collaboration ep with Cloudy. Also, as far as my art is concerned I’m hoping to make 2012 count. So look out!

Happy New Year!

Nothing Will Ever Be The Same Again

Finished my installation project, it’s currently being assessed as we speak… The projection wasn’t intentionally upside down but the projector was broken so I just ran with it. If you can’t read it from the photos, the wooden projector housing says “We travel as clouds insignificantly, collecting and discarding what ultimately does not and will not matter”.

Hello Facebook!

Decided to get myself a wee facebook page. You would go and click like if you’re a cool guy, go on.

Installation Progress…

Here are two cheeky detail photos of the installation I’m working on just now. Basically, it’s based around the concept that absolutely everything in the universe is subject to change. Once the installation is finished next week I will be projecting a video that I’ve made on top of it. I’ll post the film/final photos when I’ve got them. Peace out homies. ImageImage

The Mask

Here’s a terribly blurry photo taken with my webcam. I’ve been working on this mask for a few days, got a lot more to do to it though. You can’t really see, but the dark areas are made up of tons of little twigs and stuff. The idea was to collage the same way as I have been doing with my prints (such as the dude in the top left) but in a three dimensional manner, using found objects.  I’ll post a proper photo when it’s finished.

It’s strange here in the fog…

I went home for the weekend and woke up to mountains of fog lingering around outside. Never have I wished I had my camera with me more, fortunately the fog followed me up to Dundee. Today me and Tammy went on a super lame photographer’s day out along the front. The fog was most impressive at water level, it looked as though the world just ended after the railing.
